Think back to what you were doing in 2013: In between mastering how to take the perfect selfie with your iPhone 5, you were probably rocking out to Lorde while decking out your nails in over-the-top decor.

That’s right, in 2013, almost every girl lived by the mantra  “the bolder, the better” when it came to her nails. Unfortunately, by 2015, nail art took a bit of a hiatus as more minimalist styles gained momentum all over social media.

Luckily, like most trends, nail art is forever evolving, and your favorite celebs are once again sporting decked-out digits on and off the red carpet, giving all of us the green light to experiment with eye-catching tip couture. Check out the top celebs who are bringing nail art back.

Whether it’s the Met Gala or a casual Friday, you can bet that Cardi B will be rocking a set of bauble-bedecked talons. According to the rapper’s nail tech Jenny Bui, Cardi B has been a fan of bold nail art for years—the more bling, the better.

The rapper typically opts for piled-on, oversized gems and an extra-long stiletto nail shape. And it seems social media is taking note—Bui’s nail art-focused Instagram account has 465,000 followers and counting!
